The Seattle Metropolitan Elections Committee (SEAMEC) is a non-partisan, non-profit civic organization dedicated to serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) communities. SEAMEC evaluates and rates candidates running for political and judicial office in Seattle, King County, and the state of Washington, based on their knowledge and a proven record of support for LGBT concerns and issues.
Small Businesses.
I’m a huge advocate for our small businesses. They are the backbone of our economy and part of the fabric of our community. We must do everything we can do protect them. As your State Representative, I will introduce and cosponsor legislation aimed at helping our small businesses recover financially and return back to pre-COVID levels, in order to safeguard these businesses and the many important jobs that they support.
